This is a similar idea to the Berber Braids, however no hair is used in this version. I use loads of colored yarns and textiles to make a pair of thick accents to wear in your hair. These are decorated with shells, bells, coins, or other tribal trinkets to add a more ethnic "gypsy" look to your appearance. These measure about 18-22 inches in length and attach easily to your own hair with no-tangle, coated, hair elastics. For another cool look with these, you can make buns out of your hair and wind these around the base of your buns. I even know a dancer who ties them around her biceps for funky arm streamers, while dancing.
