Garden Plants
You can grow just about any type of garden plants that you want. There will be some exceptions due to climate, but generally the popular plants that people grow at home can be put almost anywhere and will flourish with the right nurturing. Sometimes it is easier to determine which kinds of plants WON’T grow well in your garden.
You want to give your garden plants the best chance possible for growing, and picking up some books and pamphlets about gardening where you live is one of the first steps. Since different climates will affect plants in different ways, you want to know your planting time and growing season for your particular part of the country. You also want to know which plants do well next to each other, and which plants will have problems if planted too close together.
One of the best times to think about what garden plants you want is in the winter and early spring. If you do your research during this time, you will be ready to plant as soon as your window of opportunity opens. Then you will have a beautiful garden that you will be thrilled with.
